So you want to be a chef? Think twice . . .

A lot of people think if they can cook like a star at home they have what it takes to work or even run/own their own restaurant. Most of us home-cooks think maybe, just maybe we could make the big time and work in a resturant. Now with the popularity of the Food Network everyone thinks it'd be great to have a career in the kitchen.
So naturally you'd think, att
end college or the CIA cooking schools and get a degree to make it big. Well, thanks to this thought we now have a glut of cooks - today an article from San Francisco makes a point that there's "too many cooks in the kitchen". If only these wannbe chef's read these books first (below are the books I've read and recommend, they're probably at your local library.
